Background of the issue:
I am trying to clarify the languages that WPML can auto-translate for my site hidden link. I noticed a discrepancy between the number of languages listed on different WPML resources.
1. https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/pre-configured-languages/
2. hidden link
Symptoms:
Afrikaans is listed as pre-configured in one WPML resource but not in the language settings or the pre-configured languages list.

Questions:
Can you confirm what languages are available for auto-translation?
Why is there a discrepancy in the number of languages listed on different WPML resources?

Hi,
Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
1) Please go to WPML-> Translation Management-> Tools tab-> Language mappings, and check which translation engine supports which languages. (Kindly check the attached screenshot)
2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?
You can read a detailed explanation about it here. (http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support)
The debug info will give me much information about how your site is configured.
Best regards,
Osama

I need to know the total list of languages on WPML and why some are not showing on the list in the language page of the wp wpml plugin.

Hi,
1) You can know the pre-defined languages from this guide. You can also check the pre-defined languages by the following steps:
1- Go to WPML-> Languages
2- Click Edit Languages
3- Check the languages in the mapping field
2) The steps in my previous reply will help you determine if the translation engine supports the language.
If the language is pre-defined in WPML, it doesn't mean it's supported by a specific translation engine. This hidden link also explains this.
Best regards,
Osama
