Hi,

I am busy combining two existing sites (German and English) into one with WPML. The final version will be separate domains, but on my development server (hosted locally), I need to use language urls, e.g. mysite.com/en.

Is it possible to easily change the setting after the fact? I want to do everything on my dev server and then move the final version onto the production server.

Kind regards,
Roland

Hi Roland,

the links should be changed accordingly just like when changing from the URL format from *directories* to *languages added as parameters*

you can also look into our add-on plugin "sticky links " for internal links
=> https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/sticky-links/

therefore feel free to develop using directories or parameters and then on the live site switching to different domains per language
