Hello,
So I have found an annoying issue with product ajax filter on woodmart theme.
If you navigate on the shop page and choose different categories you will see the slug will change and everything is display correctly, but while you on recent switch categories (ajax on the shop) and choose other languages then it will redirect to that language shop page instead of translated category.
The issue is present only when you are switching ajax categories if you go and refresh the page and after that switch to language then everything is perfect.

Some screenshots but I don't know if it will help you, maybe I can do a short video if you don't understand or you can't reproduce it.

So steps:

Here I am on English I just played with categories and I am on the electric fireplace category, but if I switch to the Italian language will redirect to the default Italian shop.

I think it is related to the theme first and after that to wpml, somehow wpml remembers that the first page accessed was the shop even if the slug changes on category is switched the language redirect will go to default shop for the language that was selected

On previous support topic, I have migrated my website to cloudways maybe you can use it to debug there. Thanks.

Check my video and you will understand. I have told you to go to shop page and press any categories and then switch language.
Because this issue it is ajax related.

Ok. I got it.

As this is ajax, I am pretty sure this is theme related. To be sure, are you able to replicate this behavioru with the Storefront theme?

I´ve tried on my local server and it´s not possible to replicate.

In this case, I would need to ask your assistance to replicate this on a sandbox site which woudl involve your uploading the version of Woodmart that you have and setting up the Woocommerce shop as you have it on your site.

There are products already preloaded onto the site.

Once I can replicate the issue, then we can forward this to our compatibilty team who may be able to provide you a workaround.

Please let me know if you are willing to do this. I have to warn you, however, the compatibility issues may take a while to fix or resolve as they ultimately require the theme author to collaborate.

Hello, yes it is theme related.
On this topic I have already migrated the website to cloudways please check bellow.

I have many issues with this theme and wpml which theoretically it should be compatible...

Are you able to still access that migrated cloudways site? Since another supporter created it, I cannot see it.

If you can, please let me know and I will contact Radu to add this issue to his existing escalated ticket.

Yes - thanks, I see that now.

Since this may really be a compatibility issue - could you please login to this sandbox site and upload your theme and do any basic configuration necessary:

There are sample products there already and I will test to see if this can be reproduced on a clean installation.

Please let me know when it is done.

John

Done, yes the issue still persists.
I have also tested on my local configuration clean install.
Just watch the video above and you will reproduce it.
Thanks
