I want to change some of the automatic translations that WPML created for our site. However, I can't edit anything, even though I should be able to. I'm attaching a picture of what I see, but no matter where I click, I can't change or edit anything.

You can click on the text "Footer - Englisch" to change the menu name. If it doesn't work, please enable a minimal environment as below and see if it helps:
- Deactivate all non-WPML plugins
- Switch to a standard theme of WordPress
