I am trying to: install WPML

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: everywhere

I expected to see: the plugin working properly

Instead, I got: an error message:

One of my colleagues just consulted me and it seems that the error you are experiencing is a little bit different from the one in the link I recommended.

I would like to ask your authorization to make a copy of the site in order to make further tests in a local envionment without affecting the live site.

Hello Carlos, I just made a backup from my site. Feel free to access it whenever you wish.
I have also been disconnecting all the cash plugins. I have now the following message showing:

WPML can't run normally. There is an installation or server configuration problem. Show details

AJAX Error: Forbidden [403]

I also have some problems in installing WPML. It doesn't go any further than the step 2.

Thank you very much for your authorization.

My next step will be to create a copy of the site and install it on a local environment in order to isolate the cause of the issue. I suspect there is an interaction issue between WPML and a third party plugin and/or theme functionality.

I would like to ask to you to create a full backup of the site and apply the workaround described here: https://wpml.org/errata/missing-_icl_strings-_icl_string_translations-data-tables/

Our 2nd tier specialists couldn't connect to the site via FTP, I have set your next answer private so you can provide this information in a secure way.

Also, I need to ask you to flush all cache memory and disable any cache plugin, because this is affecting our specialists in their work.

Thank you very much for the information provided, however the FTP connection doesn't show the folder with the site's installation. I kindly ask you to double check the FTP access given to the credentials you shared and, if necessary, edit the credentials in your previous message.
