Hello,

I am trying to translate Chinese (Simplified) into Chinese (Traditional) with Classic Translation Editor.

As the attached image shows, the filter doesn't work properly. The Chinese Simplified content shows up as English content.

I went to the WPML troubleshooting page, cleared cache, pressed most of the buttons to fix the issue. I also cancel the jobs and re-send the translation jobs or Edit/Update the Chinese Simplified content but I got the same result.

Could you look into the issue?

I provided the admin access to my staging site.

* Please NOTE there are TWO kinds of username and password. One is for the WordPress admin and another one is for my staging site. The username and password for the staging site are described in FTP details below the WordPress username and password.

Hello,

i did the following with the page " Hearty Miso Soup Recipe (The Healthiest Japanese Food with Plenty of Vegetables)" and it seems to have resolved this

go to WPML->Translation Management->Translation Jobs -> filter by search for ""Hearty Miso Soup Recipe (The Healthiest Japanese Food with Plenty of Vegetables)" then delete the job from English to Chinese Traditional

afterwards i re send the job and it was picked up correctly

Sorry for my late reply. Unfortunately, the issue still exists.

I want to translate Chinese (Simplified) into Chinese (Traditional) with Classic Translation Editor.

I sent the Chinese Simplified posts to Translation Basket for Chinese Traditional. I got the same result as shown in the previous screenshot. The Chinese Simplified content shows up as English content.

Could you check the staging site again?

I would like to report another issue that probably relates to this filtering issue. Please check the 2 screenshots.

When your language is set to English at the top admin bar and you press "Send all items for translation" on Translation Basket, English Taxonomies show up instead of Chinese in Original Chinese Simplified.

If your language is set to Chinese Simplified at the top admin bar on Translation Basket, correct Chinese Taxonomies show up.

You can reproduce this issue in the following recipes.

Since we installed WPML 4.3.0-b.8, you might see the message "There was a problem creating the .mo files" on my staging site now.

We still did not get another feedback from our second tier, to anticipate any possible escalation, would you be willing to share a Duplicator copy of your website? The access credentials are working for me. I just need your approval to install Duplicator and take a snapshot of your website.

I reached out again to our second tier for some tips to advance the resolution of this ticket. Without answer, we should probably take a copy of your website, or migrate it to our platform to escalate the ticket and let a developer investigate these issues.

Let me know which step you would prefer(duplicator copy/migration)?
