This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:The header and footer are broken in secondary language

Solution: The client is using normal Elementor template for Header and Footer. So the design is broken in the secondary language. Adding a Global Header and Footer template for the site has fixed the issue.

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve these issues.

Please add a Global Header and Footer template for the site. Then translate it into the secondary language and make sure the issue is existing or not. Please check the attached images for more details.

originally we have built the site with older Elementor version - the Global footer and header did not exist yet then.
