[Resolved] The language selector is does not appear above the Korean version of our blog post

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The language selector does not appear on the Korean version of a blog post, although it appears on the English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese versions.
Solution:
We re-translated the string related to the language selector in the WPML String Translation tool. We recommend you check if the string and languages now work correctly on your Korean post. If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems outdated, please visit our known issues page, verify the version of the permanent fix, and ensure you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to display the language links on the Korean version of our blog post. It appears on the English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese versions as intended, but not on the Korean version.

Symptoms:
The language selector does not appear above the Korean version of our blog post. I expected to see the language links on the Korean page, just as they appear on the English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese versions of the blog post. Instead, the language links did not appear.

Questions:
Why are the language links not appearing on the Korean version of the blog post?
How can I ensure the language selector appears on all language versions of the blog post?

I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Thank you, Osama! The component now renders correctly!

I do have a follow-up question: Why does the component appear correctly on the Simplified Chinese, and Spanish translations even though the translation strings aren't set up in either of those languages?

I appreciate any insight you can provide.

Hi Adrian,

The issue in Korean was that the string in String Translation was flagged as English when added in Korean.

So, I deleted the string from String Translation, added the correct string in WPML-> Languages, and re-translated the string.

The Spanish and Chinese didn't have the issue because they were added as translations in String Translation.
