Neil

This is not a support request rather I'm adding some information for people using custom query boxes with the new thesis

If you query by category it will output the default language cat ID and when you switch language no content shows up.

Using icl_object_id() I was able to recode the file wp-content/themes/thesis/lib/core/skin/boxes.php to show the correct category.

I'm adding this into the forum so people don't have to spend hours reverse engineering thesis to fine where the queries are created

Attached is the line that needs to be changed

'terms' => !empty($this->options[$this->options['post_type'] . '_' . $this->options[$this->options['post_type'] . '_tax'] . '_text']) ?
(int) $this->options[$this->options['post_type'] . '_' . $this->options[$this->options['post_type'] . '_tax'] . '_text'] :
(int) icl_object_id($this->options[$this->options['post_type'] . '_' . $this->options[$this->options['post_type'] . '_tax'] . '_term'], 'category', false)));

Dear Neil,

Thanks for the tip, I will pass this on to our compatibility team to try and get it included in Thesis itself.

Best regards,
David
