Hi Dennis,

I deactivated the WPML Media plugin and now all the images are copied.

The duplicate contains the images, the decorative image and the featured image.

But I've still got a problem which might need a new ticket.

I've added a screenshot of the backend of the gallery "original and 10 by 15" which is the first of 153 galleries. (I had to reduce the size because the attachment size exceeds the allowable limit of 1MB; a bit annoying.)

You'll see at the top that there's the definition for a button to return to the calling page. This uses a href in an "a" tag. Value: ../../other-portfolios/agilux-agifold/ . But of course I can't use a language qualifier so this will return to the page in the original language (English). How can I avoid this? This must be a common problem for which there must be a solution.

Best regards

Martin

Hi,

You can use WPML Sticky Links, which will change your links to the post id in the backend, but the front end will display the permalinks correctly.

You can see step by step in our documentation:

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/sticky-links/.

Please note that this should work for internal links only.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Dennis

Hi Dennis,

thanks for this.

I've looked at the documentation. Just what I need .

But I first didn't realise this is new plugin. I looked for the settings from the page you sent in all the WPML links in the backend. Couldn't find it.

And I then looked for the plugin but I can't it anywhere. Not under new plugins, not on the WPML site. Nowhere.

So would you please tell me where I can find it? Thanks.

Best regards

Martin

Hi,

You should be able to download it from your account page in wpml.org:

https://wpml.org/account/downloads/

You can find it at the bottom of the downloads page. Please see attached image for your reference.

Kind regards,
Dennis

Hi Dennis,

oops, I didn't look far enough down this page.

Thanks for this and your help.

If there are still any problems with this I'll open a new ticket.

Best regards

Martin
