Problem:
You are trying to translate links in WooCommerce category descriptions and encountering issues where the translated links do not match the expected URLs, affecting SEO internal linking.
Solution:
We recommend updating to the latest versions of WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce, specifically version 5.5.3, as this version includes a fix for the issue you are experiencing. If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check the related known issues and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of your themes and plugins. If the problem persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance. You can do so at WPML support forum.

Hi, Our second-tier supporter explains that the suggested workaround is partial and has not been tested in every possible scenario. In your case, it may not work with the Domain per Language URL format you have set on your site. However, the second-tier supporter suggests trying the following. 1. Go to WPML -> Languages -> Make themes work multilingual, and check the 'Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality' option and click the Save button. I'm unable to access your site anymore, but according to the debug information, this option is not selected on your site. 2. Go to WPML -> Settings -> Translate Link Targets, and again click the 'Scan now and adjust links' button. 3. Our second-tier supporter said that it still might not work, and you may need to update the taxonomy terms with this problem. If you need further help with this issue, please again share access to your site with me and allow me to take a copy of your site if required. For this, I must install a plugin like Duplicator or All In One Migration. Please let me know if you agree. I'm enabling a private message for the following reply. Regards, |

Unortunately it didn't work. I repeat, you should improve your link replacement tool. Background runing, compatibility fix with taxonomies product-cat and product-tag. Best option, strongest solution. |

Hi, The goal of updating all outdated functionalities is to rule out any possible conflict already solved in new versions. The outdated functionalities can cause conflicts in the code, and keeping them up-to-date is one of the basic good practices. |

Please finish updating the functionalities (Elementor database update, Elementor Pro database update, WordPress core, plugins, and the theme) that appear in the attached screenshot.
