Background of the issue:

I have changed theme on my site and almost finished to make it. Before, with previous theme, my shop was only in English and the sidebar was not translated in Italian (we have chosen this option, translating only posts and pages).
Now, with new theme (Astra) if I go to the shop in English (main language) and then click the Italian flag if I am in hidden link it's ok.
Symptoms:
But if I click on one category, for example "bangles" and click on the Italian flag, parts of the sidebar disappear.

Questions:
Do you think I shall select some option on WPML or it's another issue? thank you so much.

We could event leave this page, and all the categories pages, in English, in this case how could I deactivate the language switcher for the shop page?

I have solved in a way: I have set the shop page like "not translatable" and I have addedd CSS in my theme's "Customize" area not to show the language switcher in Italian.
