I've searched and read 5-6 other threads with the same topic.

So here I am :

I've installed wpml string.
I've added the little code

$description = get_user_meta( $user_id, 'description', true );
echo icl_translate('wpml_custom', 'wpml_custom_'.$user_id, $description);

I can see the author bio in the wpml-string translation.
I can translate it.

Nothing appear where it's supposed to be in both languages.

Hello ThomaD,

Instead of your code, try this one:

	echo icl_translate( 'wpml_custom',  'wpml_custom_'.$user_id, get_the_author_meta( 'description' ) );

Please let me know if that helped.

OH YEAH! It works!

Can you help me with the blog title? Do you want me to open another thread?

Oh no, it only works in one language.

By "it only works in one language" you mean the Author's Bio? Please go to WPML->String Translation and verify if the translations are still marked as "Translation complete".

For the blog title, please open another thread.

I've tried to replicate this issue at my side, but I couldn't.

Please try also:
1. Clean your browser's cache.
2. Save the translations again.
3. Try it with different theme.

Did any of these help?
