Hi,
I am trying to:
translate a Mailchimp for WordPress subscribe form.
Using a wordpress theme (Basel) compatible with WPML, I have already inserted in WPML the three strings translated (“Email address” and “Subscribe”) that appear in the form, but It did not work.
I also tried to follow these instructions: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/mailchimp-for-wordpress-multilingual/ but the procedure identifies 63 strings to be translated, and instead the form contains only 3.
Above all I don’t understand why the wpml string translation doesn’t have to work.
Please help me to find a solution.
Thanks a lot

I expected to see:
"Email address" and "Subscibe" in the home page, english version

Instead, I got:"Indirizzo Email" and "Iscriviti"

Hello,

I would advise you to translate the form as suggested in our documentation:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/mailchimp-for-wordpress-multilingual/

1) Download our glue plugin Mailchimp Multilingual here: https://wpml.org/account/downloads/

2) Install and activate the plugin

3) Create a translation job for the form on Translation Management

4) Translate all strings. Those string do not only include the form fields but only the message that will be displayed and send out while filling out the form.

Let me know if the form was translated.

Kind regards
Andreas
