Is there any documentation that you are following?https://wpml.org/forums/topic/i-have-to-translate-a-map-created-with-wp-google-map-pro/ i believe that is the same problem from what i searched but i can't understand the solution in spanish 🙂

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting the WPML support!

Please apologize for the delay in answering. This is not usual in this forum. I'll take care of your ticket and reply time will be shorter from now.

For being of better help, can you please provide your WPML Debug information in the debug field below? http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Please try the following:
Please try the following:
-Go to WPML > Translation Management > Multilingual content setup > Custom posts
-Set "Places" to "Translate"
-After that, you should be able to translate this Custom Post Type
-If the CPT has custom fields (it probably does) to translate those you will have to install the addon plugin Translation Management and set them to translate or copy in WPML > Translation Management > Multilingual content setup > Custom fields

Let me know your results, please.

Kind Regards,

Otto

Hello,

Thanks.

Is it possible for you to share a copy of the plugin, so I can try it locally and investigate further?

I'll set next reply as private, so you can share a download link safely.

Once the issue is solved I'll delete the files.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Kind Regards,

Otto

Hello,

Sure 🙂

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok for you.

** IMPORTANT **

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Hello,

Thanks for the credentials, but when I tried to access to the site's admin I get this error:
The page cannot be found

Can you please check it and let me know when it is fixed so I can change the issue here?

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks. I managed to log in now.

If I am not mistaken, you can create different maps and insert them into different pages, right? The same with locations, you create the locations and then add them to a map, no?

So, to have your maps translated you can create a new map (for the secondary languages) and also the locations in the secondary language.

Then you add them to the new map and add the map to a translated page.

Does this make sense for you? Is it a suitable solution?

If not, can you elaborate a bit on how the plugin works?

Thanks for your cooperation.

Let me know your results, please.

Kind Regards,

Otto
