We had a job sent to icanlocalize. The job needed to be redone and we were then no longer able to upload the XLIFF file. After updating the serial number in the XLIFF file, the file successfully uploaded but still shows the original content instead of the translation. The correct content also shows in the WPML Translation editor, but not on the frontend. We are not able to cancel the job for this page that shows as in progress with icanlocalize.

Please let me know if the status on the job that we tried to cancel yesterday has changed at all. If not, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

We have not found a solution to this issue. To not waste any more time with Icanlocalize, we decided to translate our website ourselves and accepted the $ loss. You can mark this thread as resolved.

@anyone looking to use icanlocalise: make sure you hire a 3rd party translator to go through the translated contents.
