On Avada 5.9 with no child theme, when a new page or post translation is created by WPML (by clicking on the translate page link) it does not copy the default mobile header background color from global theme settings and sets it as white instead. Another issue is if the search icon next to the mobile menu is set to "do not display" for mobile although it works on the default language,on other languages the theme ignores this setting and shows the search icon. The first issue is overcome by manually setting the heading background color for mobile on every newly created translated page or post. However there's no easy fix for the search icon bug. These issues may have to do with the way Avada is coded or with WPML, or both.

Hi,

thanks for contacting us.

Avada requires the theme options to be copied to each language to work properly, so maybe you didn't set all the options correctly. You may try the procedure as described here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/avada-theme-options-cant-be-saved-as-all-languages/

If this doesn't work, please provide your WPML debug information. You can find it in:
WPML -> Support -> click on debug information link
Then you can copy/paste the text you see in the Debug box I'll enable for the next answer.
More information here: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/
