Hi,

I'm really confused. I have translated all main pages (status: completed) to English, but many of them (for example frontpage) are missing in english version. I don't understand what's wrong.

Also I'm struggling with the menu. Current menu in English version has the wrong design. I used your tutorial on how to translate Elementor templates, but it didn't work on the header. With footer, there was no problem.

I'm afraid I translate these missing pages/templates in wrong order. Is it possible to delete the plugin's memory and start 100% from scratch again?

regards,

Imre

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Hello,

Thank you for the provided details. I took a detailed look in your website and noticed some of your translations was with a trash status instead of published, it happened to the homepage, also for some the elementor header template translation. I've untrashed some of them and it works, here is what you need to make sure:

1 - Your pages translations are not in the transh and they are really published, otherwise you won't be able to see them as the language switcher won't show the translated version.

2 - Your header templates translation are not in the trash, in order to check it you can go to your WordPress Dashboard > Templates > Theme Builder > Header change to your secondary language and take a look in the trash link from the list of templates available.

3 - Once you are done with these checks you can edit your translated pages using elementor and reassign these templates for the proper sections.

Please, let me know if you need any additional assistance and clarifications. Have a nice day.

Hi!

Thank you very much for your support!

There is 1 issue more. I can't do any changes with my Contact page. There is some conflict (server error) with WPML and Elementor. Could you please check my contact page translation aswell?

regards,

Imre

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. You can try the following:

1 - In your WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Settings click the 'scan and adjust liks' button from your 'Translate Link Targets' settings. Wait the whole process and resave your permalinks settings from your WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks options.

2 - If the steps above don't work for you, then I recommend you to manually update the buttons links editing the buttons of your translated page using the Elementor Page Builder, instead of using the WPML Translation Editor.

Please, let me know if it helps or if you need any further clarifications. Have a nice day.
