I am trying to: Follow your instructions and use the Translation Management wizard

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/

I expected to see: "Translation Management" in my menu,

Instead, I got: No Option for Translation management

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

You are using "Multilingual Blog"

Translation Management and String Translation are included in the "CMS" and "Lifetime " packages only: https://wpml.org/purchase/

If you are planning on translating your pages/posts then this is OK and you will not need to use the String Translation and Translation Management.

but if you are going to need to use a translation service to translate your pages/posts, translate theme strings and admin texts and/or need to have a multilingual e-commerce store then i suggest upgrading to the 'CMS' or 'Lifetime' package as they both will include String Translation and Translation Management.

Regards,
Riffaz.

Are you saying that MPML as I've purchased it does not allow me to create machine translations?

Hi,

Machine Translation is different form string translation.

WPML does not allow machine translation at all but WPML 4.0 version introduced an Advanced Translation Editor, which comes with a built-in machine translation feature.
Please refer : https://wpml.org/faq/does-wpml-support-machine-translation/

Machine translation – Allows getting an instant machine translation that can then be improved manually.

You can enable ATE from screen : WPML > Settings > How to translate posts and pages
- Use the Advanced Translation Editor

Under WordPress>WPML>Settings, there is no section, checkbox or link labeled "How to translate Posts and Pages"

Hi,

That option will be available only if you have installed "WPML Translation Management"
If your plan/package has it you can get it from here : https://wpml.org/account/downloads/

Unfortunately, that isn't available to me in the downloads section.

Clearly, WPML doesn't behave the way I was expecting, and I need a different product. Could I kindly request a refund, please?
