Hi:

a few weeks ago your support helped us so we could see the translations strings for a chart on one of our pages. Our translator has added the translations and tried to complete the page but the translations are not showing on the front end of the site. Additionally, there is a lot of new highlighting on the page that we are unfamiliar with (and not sure what to do about).

I will attached a back-end picture and a front-end picture of the page in question.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting WPML support.

1.- The highlights in the Advance Translation Editor are the HTML markers that need to be translated. Please visit visit this link for more information: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/#html-markers

2.- Regarding the strings in the chart: after finishing the translation, does the issue persists?

Kind regards,
Carlos

Hi:

We are still having trouble with this. The html formatting is wierd as it only comes up for two table cells out of the whole table and shows html comments that are not in the original code. There are what look like empty tags <lb> for example and when you click on them they disapear and sometimes the text around them disapears.

Hi there,

Could you provide a screencast that shows the issue happening? This way I will have a better understanding of the problem.

Regards,
Carlos
