This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: Translating Smart Slider 3 or showing different smart slider3 in secondary language.

Solution: You only need create separate slider for each language. you may be able to duplicate your main language slider for each other language. You can then place your translated strings manually in each language's slider, and use the appropriate slider in your translated pages or posts.

I need to translate text in slides of Smart Slider 3. It is shown via short code in special place in WP Store PRO template from 8Degree Themes.

How can I do that?

Hi,

This plugin appears to be incompatible with WPML, and does not appear in our list of compatible plugins: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/

As a workaround, you may be able to duplicate your main language slider for each other language. You can then place your translated strings manually in each language's slider, and use the appropriate slider in your translated pages or posts.

Here is Smart Slider 3 official documentation for using it in WPML: hidden link

If you are creating pages / posts via PHP files you can use following code:

<?php

        if (ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE == 'en') {
            echo do_shortcode("[smartslider3 slider=2]");
        } else {
            echo do_shortcode("[smartslider3 slider=3]");
        }

?>

This code will display 'slider 2' in English pages and 'slider 3' in other languages.

These are the possible ways for now.
Hope, this will help you.

Regards,
Riffaz.

Hi, thank you for answer.

Template has only one field for short code only.

Any other possibilities?

Hi,

The screenshot shows that you are using the shortcode in customizr, right ?
You can translate customizr strings. Please follow the steps explained here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-theme-options/

If that does not work for you, please contact your theme support regarding this.
Since it comes from the theme.

As I already mentioned that the plugin incompatible issue, this can be fixed only by its respective developers.

I friendly suggest you to show this link https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/ when you contact them.

Yes, I found that opportunity yesterday and it work perfect. You only need separate slider for each language.

Thank you!
