Martin Mart

Hello,

I have learned, that to translate the title and description (screenshot) of a picture, I have to use string-translation, with is not very user friendly.

My website is german but the strings are english (screenshot).

1) Can I switch the english strings to german, or how is the right way?

2) Is there an other gallery with works better with WPML?

Thanks ........ Mart.

Hello, Mart. Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I am happy to help you with this.

Yes, you can change the default string language. Go to WPML > String Translation and click "Language of Domains" or select the few that you would like to change. See: "How to set the source languages of strings" - https://wpml.org/de/version/wpml-3-3/

Other galleries can be found at Multilingual Ready Plugins:
https://wpml.org/plugin/

Please let me know if this resolves the issue or if you still need help.
