This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
If you're experiencing a red error message when trying to edit the Norwegian translation of your site, it might be due to several issues including outdated plugins or insufficient memory limits.
Solution:
1. Edit the page in the original language and make a small change to the content. Save these changes.
2. Navigate to WPML -> Translation Dashboard, select the page, and send it for translation to see if the issue resolves.
3. Ensure that all WPML plugins are updated to the latest version. You can check for updates in Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial tab.
4. Increase the WordPress memory limit to at least 128MB. You can do this by adding the following line to your wp-config.php file:
/* Memory Limit */<br />define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');Add this line above the '/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */' line. You can verify the updated memory limit in WPML -> Support.
If these steps do not resolve your issue, or if the solution seems outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
