I'm Chris Cheung (ccheung@sumologic.com) on the Marketing web team. I maintain the content for our site. We're noticing that some translations are not being pushed to our localized sites. Our translation vendor Blend sent us the xliff for one example and confirmed the translated copy was updated. They see it in the WPML advanced editor too. Our developer has also filed a ticket for a similar issue. I wanted to submit a new one to escalate this issue since we now have the xliff files to confirm the copy is correct on Blend's side. Example: Again, we have another ticket open where the main cta in the hero of the home page is not going to the korean version even though we manually changed it in the advanced editor. I can't upload the xliff, so here's a copy on my shared drive. thanks |

Hello, This is Ahmed Mamdouh from the translation proxy team, and I'll help you with this ticket. First, I would like to verify that the updated translation has been delivered correctly to WPML. Please follow the steps below and let us know whether the issue is resolved: Open the translation in the Classic Translation Editor (CTE) and confirm that the latest updates are present. Best regards, |

Hi Ahmed, However, if this situation sounds like something that happened before, please let us know. We have new feedback from the KO team that Blend is updating. If we see the issue again, I’ll let you know. Thanks, |

Hello Chris, I'm glad to hear that the issue has been resolved, and thank you for keeping me updated. At this point, I cannot determine the exact root cause with complete certainty. However, it is likely that the issue was related to a synchronization problem. When I asked you to open the translation in the Classic Translation Editor (CTE), the recent updates were not present, which suggests that WPML may not have received or synchronized the XLIFF file correctly at that stage. In any case, I'm pleased that everything is working as expected now. If you encounter any other issues or have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'll be happy to help. Ahmed Mamdouh. |
