I’m currently working on a multilingual LMS setup using TutorLMS and WPML, and I’ve run into a critical limitation when translating quizzes. Issue description: However, in the Advanced Translation Editor, I only see: The quiz questions and answers are completely missing, which makes it impossible to fully translate the quiz. Thank you in advance for your help. |

Thank you for contacting WPML support, Dimitra. I noticed that the sandbox site (with TutorLMS installed) previously shared with you is still active. Can you please try to reproduce the issue there so I can investigate further? Once you’ve replicated the issue, please let me know the exact steps you followed or how to reproduce it. The following private message contains the sandbox link. |

Thank you for your help Andrey! I have already tried in the sandbox but I get the error attached in the screenshot. I DO NOT have this issue in my website, only in the sandbox. In my website, I am allowed to proceed to the Translations and use the Advanced Translation Editor. What I did in the sandbox: |

In the English Course, I have a quiz with two questions and their answers hidden link. I navigate to WPML -> Translation Dashboard -> Quizzes -> and I select the quiz named "This is a quiz" and I send it to translation. I translate it, but only the title field is visible to Advanced Translator Editor. The questions and their answers are missing hidden link. |

Hello Dimitra, I hope you are doing well too. I wanted to let you know that I have escalated this issue to our Compatibility Team. After investigating, I was unable to find a way to include the quiz questions and answers in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) for translation. I also understand that you need to keep moving forward with your project. In the meantime, the best workaround would be to translate the courses manually without using ATE for the affected content. As soon as I receive any updates from our Compatibility Team, I will let you know here right away. Thank you for your patience and understanding. |

I would like to provide an update. Our team has reviewed the issue and reported it to the plugin’s author for further investigation. In the meantime, they have developed a workaround and added an MU plugin to the current sandbox site. Based on our testing, it appears to be working correctly. Could you please recreate a complete quiz on the sandbox site to help us verify the solution? This will ensure that all question types and quiz options are covered during testing. |

Hello Andrey, I apologize for my late reply. I am testing all questions one by one, in the question type: 1) matching: in the answer, from the matching pair only the first part is available for translation ATE see screenshot Let me know if you need further assistance. |

Thank you for your patience. Our Compatibility Team has prepared workarounds for the remaining issues you reported regarding the quiz questions and answers. You can find the updated workaround in the MU plugin folder. Please use an FTP file manager plugin in the sandbox site to access the following directory: /wp-content/mu-plugins/ Then download the file: compsupp8390-tutorlms-wpml-quiz.php and replace the existing version on your site with the updated one. Please note that this is a temporary workaround intended to help you continue with your project. The issue ultimately needs to be fixed permanently by the plugin authors. If you encounter any additional issues related to this functionality, I also recommend contacting the Tutor LMS plugin authors and informing them about the problem. We have provided this workaround to bridge the gap, but a permanent solution should come from the plugin itself. |
