Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the image gallery of ultimate addon elementor on my website, but the gallery layout is not following the default translation. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link
Symptoms:
I expected to see the 'Our Clients' section in the secondary language with the exact same layout as the default language. Instead, I see the 'Our Clients' section in the secondary language with a run out layout.
Questions:
How can I ensure the image gallery layout is consistent across different languages?
What steps should I take to fix the layout issue in the translated gallery?
I checked the website front end and it seems there is a Javascript error on the front end of the website for the Chinese language which is not there in English and that must be the issue as the layout fixing seems to be done by Javascript code.
What I suggest it to test the issue on a minimal installation to see if the same thing happens or not:
- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except, Elementor, Ultimate Elementor Addons, WPML Multilingual CMS, WPML String Translation.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.
