This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: While installing WPML for the first time, when I click the "next" button from step 3 page of the setup to go to step 4 page, it returns a white screen.

Solution: Client said: "Insert Post Ads" plugin was conflicting. Returning some JS error. I deactivated this plugin to fix the issue.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
- While installing first time, when I click next for step 3 page for 4, it shows white screen.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
- Nope! I checked few, turned on debugging at wp-config.php but didn't noticed anything

Is there a similar example that we can see?

I will be happy to help you with this.

Can you please try the steps below and see if there is any difference?

- disable all plugins except WPML and its add-ons
- check if the issue is happening again
- if it's not, reactivate your plugins one by one, checking every time if the issue shows up again so that you can understand which plugin is causing that issue

If the issue happens even with the non-WPML plugins disabled:

- leave all the non-WPML plugins deactivated
- switch to a default theme like TwentySeventeen
- try to recreate the issue now

Insert Post Ads plugin was conflicting. Returning some JS error. I deactivated this plugin to fix the issue. May be you can make this plugin compatible with it.
