This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to view and publish translated Gravity Forms in Farsi after following the translation steps. The forms were not appearing in the pending section. Solution: We identified that the issue was related to the client's WordPress user not having the correct language pairs set up. We recommended: 1. Navigating to WPML > Translation Management > 'Translators' tab. 2. Editing the user account to set the correct language pairs for translation from the default language to Farsi. 3. Saving the changes and checking if the translation jobs appear in the list. Additionally, we handled a specific translation job by re-sending it for translation and assigning it to the client's WordPress user, which resolved the issue, allowing the form to appear correctly in Persian.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Symptoms:
When I go through the steps, the forms go to the pre-publish review section. When I try to open the forms from the pending section, there's nothing there, and I can't open the form to find it in Farsi language to publish.
Questions:
Why are the forms not appearing in the pending section after following the translation steps?
How can I successfully translate and publish gravity forms in Farsi using WPML?
So, inside WPML > Translation Management > "Translators" tab at the top > you can edit your user account and set all the language pairs that you want to translate.
Go there and make sure that your current user has the "right" to translate from the default language into the other language that you are trying to translate into (Farsi).
After you set the correct language pairs and you save, go back again and see if you can now see the translation jobs in that list from your screenshot.
I hope that you will find this information helpful.
Yes, you are right. I followed the path you mentioned and added permission to translate for Farsi language to the user. But unfortunately, I still cannot review and publish the forms
The link you posted includes a section where you can specify who can use automatic translation, which is disabled for me. Is it because of this?
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site so I can better examine the issue. The needed fields are below the comment area. When you log in to leave your next reply, the information you enter is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will check various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to back up the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate it and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
- Please back up the site files and database before providing us access.
If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, your post and website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box.
The private box looks like this: hidden link
I will be waiting for your response.
PS: Please share with me the account credentials that you are using to test at the moment and any other credentials (for example if there's one for a main admin that has more rights, because these jobs might be visible from other accounts but not from yours).
Thank you for your review
But none of the forms you see in this screenshot is my mentioned form. I am trying to translate the forms from English to Farsi. As you can see, there is no form in Farsi language to show
"PS: Please share with me the account credentials that you are using to test at the moment and any other credentials (for example if there's one for a main admin that has more rights, because these jobs might be visible from other accounts but not from yours)."
At the moment, as I said in my last reply (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/unable-to-translate-gravity-forms/#post-16240756), unless I don't have access to the exact account that you are using, or unless you don't send the translation job back to the main translation queue (currently that's definitely assigned to you or another user), I can't see it and I can't do anything regarding that translation job.
I'm activating the private fields below so that you can share access to that exact account.
I have another problem in the translation of the layers, in fact, in applying their conditions, can we tell you about this in this ticket so that you can check it in the reviews of this mod?
Also, regarding the new issue that you mentioned in the last reply, please note that, per our Support Policy, we can handle only one issue per ticket.
Continuing with one issue per ticket helps not only supporters to focus on one issue at once, but also enables other users to find solutions to their questions faster.
So can you please open a new ticket for any new issue that you encounter (one ticket per issue) so that we can properly focus and tackle each of them?
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
I'm leaving this ticket assigned to myself until I have an update.
Have an amazing weekend up ahead.
PS: Please note that I won't be working over the weekend, but I will be able to get back to you at the beginning of next week.
I was able to re-send the job for translation, assigned it to your WordPress user and then I was able to access the translation here (hidden link) and saved it.
Now, the contact form for example shows up fine in Persian: hidden link
You should be able to access the editor by logging into the site with your account (the one you shared with me last time) and then load this link: hidden link
Also, this is the procedure I followed:
I went to WPML > Translation Management > found the "contact us" form > and resent it for translation and then I assigned it to your user.
