When I add a page to my translation queue and attempt to "take and translate" I receive the following message, which appears in multiple languages at the top of the page: Errore di autenticazione, contatta il tuo responsabile delle traduzioni per verificare il tuo abbonamento

Additional Notes:
- Everything looks normal in my account settings on WPML.org.
- Everything worked fine when the site lived at it's staging domain but the issue occurred after we moved to the production domain
- I am still receiving Overdue Translation Job Report emails that mention our staging URL

Hi there,

When reviewing your site from our side I can see that the translation managers are missing.

If possible, please test again as I have done a quick connection between your staging and live site which should ideally resolve the issue you are experiencing.

Let me know your results, please.

Hi Bobby, apologies for the delay during the holidays. I just tested it again and received the same response:

In translations queue, I click "take and translate" on any page and the queue reloads with the authentication error message. "Authentifizierungsfehler, bitte kontaktieren Sie Ihren Übersetzungsmanager, um Ihr Abonnement zu überprüfen"

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.

NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.

Thank you,
Bobby

Hi, just following up on the note about providing access via Flywheel. Please let me know if that will work for you. Thanks!

Hi there,

Is the access you shared with me staging access or production? (it looks like a production environment)

Also, I am assuming the issue is not happening on one environment or is it now happenign to both environments?

Please confirm if I can move forward with testing on the hidden link domain.

You can use bobby.k@onthegosystems.com to invite me.

It's our production environment. We did not see the issue until we moved from staging to production. You can move forward with testing and we will add you to the Flyhweel account today too. Thank you!

Thank you for confirming, the account looks overall OK, I did locate a missconnection and was able to retriece 12,000 credits for you.

Other than that I have performed all checks and it looks OK.

Please try this:

1. Go to Plugins->Add new->Commercial tab
2. Unregister WPML and remove the old site key from wpml.org
3. Re Register WPML with a new site key

Your translations and work will not be lost as they are not saved under sitekeys.

Let me know your results, please.

Thanks. I unregistered WPML in WordPress and re-registered with our existing key. Received the same error message.

For #3 on your note, are you saying we need to delete the existing site in WPML (see screenshot)? Then add the site again, creating a new site key number, then add that new number in WordPress? Just double checking that's what you meant before I proceed!

Correct, yes let's try with a new key, i've seen with similar issues doing this helps reset this type of issue.

That didn't work.
- I deleted the old key in WPML and created a new one then re-registered the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin with that key.
- Cancelled all previously open jobs
- Selected a page
- Selected to translate myself
- Went to "Translations" and clicked on "translate" next to the page
- Received the error message: Authentifizierungsfehler, bitte kontaktieren Sie Ihren Übersetzungsmanager, um Ihr Abonnement zu überprüfen

Hello!

I am experiencing the exact same error. Here are the details:

When adding a translation from the posts/pages page... clicking on the “+” icon does not open the advanced editor, it refreshes the page and displays the gear icon.

If I click on the gear icon, the URL it redirects to has the following message at the end: %26wpml_version%3D4. 8.6%26message%3DAuthentication%2Berror%252C%2Bplease%2Bcontact%2Byour%2Btranslation%2Bmanager%2Bto%2Bcheck%2Byour%2Bsubscription%26ate_job_id%3D177780709&lang=en&job_id=1981

If I go to the translations panel, try to assign myself the translation, and attempt to translate, I get this same error in French. If I already have the translation assigned and try to translate the content, the message appears in German.

I have attached images.

Hi, just noting that the issue is still happening and also wondering if you still need access to our site.

Thank you for confirming and for your patience while I was away. The issue has been escalated to the ATE team and I will update you here as soon as there is feedback from them.

@cesarT-6 , please open a new ticket as each site is configured different and there could be other factors, our team will review it promptly. Also, make sure to mention this one as well since there is an active backend ticket open in the meantime.
