zethO

I've setup a site, and I'm trying to make custom slugs for each language.

Here is the permalink-structure I want:

A single furniture (EN): hidden link
The archive page (EN): hidden link

A single furniture (DA): hidden link
The archive page (DA): hidden link

---

I've found a numerous amount of pages, explaining a bit about it, but either it doesn't work, - or it refers to some fields that I don't see in my settings (and I've been through all the settings!).

I've tried following what it says on this page: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/change-url-slug-3/ - but I don't see that 'Slug Translation'-box. I only have the small WPML-subscription ('Multilingual Blog'). Is that why? I can't find anything about that in the documentation. And I don't want to upgrade, without knowing that that'll fix it.

I've also followed the guides in this section: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-page-slugs/#translating-custom-post-type-archives
... but regardless of how I set the 'rewrite' and 'has_archive' (in my functions.php), then the slug remains the same across the two languages.

Please help! 🙂

Hi,

Welcome to WPML Support forum.

You will need the String Translation plugin in order to activate slug translation in your WPML > Settings page.

Since String Translation plugin is only available for Multilingual CMS/Agency licenses, please consider upgrading your account and download/install String Translation so you can translate the slug.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Dennis
