Hi, I'm trying to update WPML but the operation has the following errors: hidden link

I've noted that I can't modify english translation in my home page: hidden link

It seems that the web site works fine, but I don't know why this error appear when I try to upgrade

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

Please download the latest versions of WPML 4.2.1 at https //: wpml.org/downloads.

Deactivate and delete all WPML plugins. Do not worry, this process will not affect your translations and settings stored in the database.

Add WPML Mulitlingual CMS 4.2.1 again. Then go to Plugins -> Install -> Commercial and download the add-ons. Also, select the "Enable After Download" button at the bottom of the plug-in selector.

Please let me know if the issue has been resolved.

Hi there,

Please try the manual update for this version:
- Install this plugin (it will speed up the update process): https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/
- Download the lastest WPML + Extensions versions from here: https://wpml.org/account/downloads/
- Upload the zip files to Plugins > All plugins > Add new
- Activate the plugins

The update should work normally for the next updates, as the update issue is only related to this version.

May I kindly ask you please to open a new ticket for your additional question (issue with the menus)? This will help other users with similar problems to find solutions when searching the forum.
