Hi to all,
my webisite hidden link (with 3 langauges) is very slow after WPML installation with String Translation.

I've made all of this steps: https://wpml.org/2012/01/can-your-site-run-faster/ but website remain very slow (especially for the backend).

These are my actions:
- WP Super cache activation
- Clear cache, remove ghost, Fix elements, Fix WPML, Fix term count... all of things in Troubleshooting page
- WPML update

With debug queries i get this slow queries:
SELECT DISTINCT context COLLATE utf8mb4_bin
FROM efp_icl_strings

called from WPML\S\T\Domains->getMODomains()

and this HTTP API call is very slow:
hidden link
cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 15000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received
from Plugin: sitepress-multilingual-cms

PHP ini it's ok with 256M memory available (see attachments)

Hello!
Can you provide more information please?
The link for the curl request is not present in your reply.

Usually WPML needs to communicate with an outside server for verifying the subscription, checking for updates or taking configuration update for page builders or other compatible software - so if you are blocking curl requests there could be issues in how the site works.

Hello,

let's try a few steps to understand the issue better:

Please make a backup before proceeding.
1) Install Query monitor plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/)

2) Check load time and number of queries in the top bar. Load time has "s" and queries "Q"

3) Disable all WPML plugins and check load time and the number of queries now

4) Disable all other plugins and leave active only WPML plugins, and check results.

Please let me know how it goes and shares each result with me.

Thanks,
Drazen
