This issue has been first reported over 3 years ago (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/woocommerce-google-product-feed/) and again this summer (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/google-product-feed-extension-from-wc-and-wpml/) but still no development progress on this.

I believe there must be a number of multi language webshops out there that are posting their products to Google Shopping, unfortunately the WooCommerce Google Product Feed plugin (https://woocommerce.com/products/google-product-feed/) currently only creates 1 xml file in the main WPML language.

Any update on this?

Hello

I am not personally familiar with this plugin but can see that it is marked as compatble with WPML:
https://wpml.org/extensions/woocommerce-google-product-feed/

Could you help me understand if the functionality you are describing is a normal feature of the plugin?

Or is it such that a certain use of the "Google porduct feed" plugin would require additional support from WPML to work?

I can see that our compatibility team is starting to work with this plugin on some issues:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-product-feed-manager/

Would this plugin be the layer of functionality that you are needing?

I don't see any mention of multilingual or WPML on the WooCommerce website for this plugin. Maybe it is compatible with WPML, meaning that you can translate all the strings, but that does not mean it can output 2 different XML Feeds (1 for English, 1 for Dutch).

So to answer your second question, it might not be a normal feature of this WooCommerce plugin.

I will have a look at the other plugin.

Hello

You wrote "...Maybe it is compatible with WPML, meaning that you can translate all the strings, but that does not mean it can output 2 different XML Feeds (1 for English, 1 for Dutch)..."

Yes - that is my thinking.

That functionality is something that would need to be added by the plugin author.

Kind regards

I have saved the XML and edited/translated it ourselves. The feed can now no longer be automatically updated, but at least we now have 1 feed per language.
