This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
I can't access the Translate texts in admin screens feature to add a link to the String Translation.

Solution:
This issue was casued due to a small value set up for the WP Memory limit, it was increased by adding the following code to the wp-config.php file:

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

After that the Translate texts in admin screens started to work and the link was added to String Translation making possible its translation

We are trying to translate a link in a header button. The site is using the Astra theme. It seems there's a bug between Astra & WPML, we had this bug yesterday on another site using the same theme.

Hey there,

It looks like in this specific case what was causing the error with the option "Translate texts in admin screens" was not the issue described in the errata: https://wpml.org/errata/translate-texts-in-admin-screens-page-results-in-a-blank-screen/.

It was instead an issue with a small value set up for the WP Memory limit, I increased it by adding the following code to your wp-config.php file:

 define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

After that, the "Translate texts in admin screens" got accessible again.

Then, I proceeded with the procedure we discussed in the chat and fixed the original issue.

Please double check it and let us know if everything is looking fine on your end now.

Thank you,

Mateus.
