webpage shows translated in WPML version but not in live website

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that the top portion of their webpage was not translating correctly in multiple languages, although the bottom portion was fine. This issue persisted across different language versions and was noted to have started after a recent WPML update. The page was built using Elementor.
Solution:
We recommended the client to first duplicate the page and attempt to translate the duplicated version to see if the issue persists. We also suggested disabling all non-WPML plugins temporarily to check for any plugin conflicts. Additionally, we asked for details about the Elementor widgets used in the non-translating sections and for a screenshot of the page structure in the Elementor editor. To further isolate the cause, we set up a sandbox site with a fresh installation of WordPress, WPML, and its add-ons, and asked the client to recreate the affected page there to determine whether the issue was related to WPML or specific to the site's configuration.

stephaneM-28	hello the top portion of this page is not translated but the bottom portion is: hidden link, why (it is the same in the 6 other languages and other pages related to this are OK with good translation)? when I access it thru CMS in the appropriate foreing language version (French, Portuguese, etc.), then edit in elementor then edit in ATE, it shows the text in the foreign language but the live version of the website show the top portion in English only.

I would suggest duplicating the page and attempting to translate the duplicated version again to see whether the issue persists. I assume you have already performed the troubleshooting steps, such as temporarily disabling all non-WPML plugins and testing whether the issue persists. If not, please try this first, as it can help identify potential plugin conflicts. Since the page was created with Elementor, could you please let me know which Elementor widgets are used in the sections that are not translating correctly? Are they standard Elementor widgets, Elementor Pro widgets, or widgets provided by your theme or a third-party addon? It would also be helpful if you could share a screenshot of the page structure in the Elementor editor, particularly the sections that are causing problems.

stephaneM-28	Hi Andrey, I tested all above first. find attached photo, I use the standard Elementor text editor. what is strange is that it does not work on top of the page but the same elementor editor works at the bottom for the translation. my webmaster uses Elementor Pro but for this page it is just the basic elementor text editor used in the page. FYI this was OK a couple of months ago, it must have been one of the WPML update who changed it somehow. thanks for your help.

I can’t say with certainty what is causing the issue. It could be related to the page content itself, such as specific text, custom HTML, custom CSS, or another element within the page, or anything else. To help isolate the cause, I have created a sandbox site with a fresh installation of WordPress, WPML, and its add-ons. Could you please install Elementor on the sandbox site and try to recreate the affected page there? This will help us determine whether the issue is related to WPML itself or to something specific in your current site configuration.
