We have a dashboard page which have a function to send an email. Is it possible to switch the language to send an email in customer language and switch back to the old language so the admin page continue to be in the same language ?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting the WPML Support Forum.

Could you please provid emor einformation about which plugin you are using to create and send the emails?

Usually, you should find translation option for any post type at WPML -> Settings -> Post Type Translation. Here you will need to set the respective post type to "translatable".

As I am not sure how the email was created it might be that you will need to use our plugin String Translation to locate and translate the strings of the email. WPML will then be able to send the emails out in regards to user site language or admin language repectively.

Let me know if you need any assistance with this task.

To help you faster, I've enabled a private message for submitting the debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us:

Kind regards
Andreas
