I'm trying to update to the latest version (4.0.8) but I have seen this in the changelog:

-> "Fix a locale code for Ukrainian and Nepali Languages"

I'm using the /uk language code (actually I'm using it for British English) and just wanted to make sure this will not affect the /uk code in the URLs.

Thanks

It means that locale name for those languages in WPML and WordPress will be matching now. For instance, WPML had a locale code name for Ukrainian "uk_ua" but WordPress delivers .mo file named "uk".

It shouldn't affect your current settings. Make sure to take a full backup of your site before doing an update.
