Hey guys,

We are a startup which is building plants that make waste to fuel and plants that generate green chemicals like amino acids or poly lactic acids from biomass. As you can imagine our target group is all around the world just like our direct sales staff. For all those people We need our website in all those languages. For that mission we bought WPML.

Now I´m a little disappointed about WPML and the (not existing) integration of the visual composer plugin. Sure, I found the work around with duplicating sites and translate them in visual composer, but with this I can´t see the status of a translation. Ist there another solution?

When a site ist already translated maybe into 5 languages and there is a modification in one language that should be done in all the other languages, is there a possibility to automatically send a notification or a translation task to the translator?

I hope you can give me some answers to my questions.

Hi,

Thank you very much for posting in the forum.

We know that it's frustrating when our customers find compatibility issues. We think that multilingual should be a basic feature for any WordPress theme or plugin and we’re willing to spend every effort to make it happen.

We try hard to contact plugin and theme developers and work with them to make their products fully compatible. But, sometimes is not easy to fit two pieces of code together or to get cooperation from developers.

It would be great if you can ask to the plugin developer to join our compatibility program:
https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/

Anyway, have you checked our translation management add on? It's specifically designed to manage the translation flow. There you can check if any translation needs an update, assign and sent translation jobs to translators.

Here you will find more information:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-the-translation-editor/translation-management-features/
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-the-translation-editor/

And finally, you may want to check our themes and plugins compatibility list, to see if there is a product there that fits your needs:
https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/
https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/

Let me know if this helps.

Kind regards
