[Escalated to 2nd Tier] When I edit a specific product I get a site error

This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.

I was able to enter the site and make the proposed changes.

Could you please re-test and see whether you still experience the same problem?

I can then update the developers based upon your feedback.

I can open the translation screen of the classic editor again. So far so good.
If I run into any problems, you'll hear from me.

What about updating wpml plugins; will you tweak get erased? Or what did you exactly do / fix

There are updates of the core WPML plugin imminent, but the change I made was to edit a file in the WCML add-on.

If an update were made to that plugin before the change is incorporated by the developers then I'd need to apply the same edit again, but I won't know until the time comes for a WCML update.

I'll leave this as escalated—it is already connected to the relevant internal ticket.

I'll update you again when I see progress on that ticket.
