Hi,

I checked our system and see that our developers plan this fix for version 4.6.8. But this might change, and it is up to them to decide when it will be released. I'm sorry, but I have no ETA for the release. I'll update you here for any news.

Hi,

According to what I see in our internal documentation, this fix will be included in the next version of WPML - 4.6.8. If it goes according to the plan, it will be released next month. I'm sorry, but I have no exact ETA.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi,

I'm sorry I don't have this information. It is up to our developers and management to decide on this. The release probably depends on many other things and no one can tell an exact date it will be available.

Hi,

Our developers have postponed the work and release of a version with the fix for this issue and other related cases. But we are working on a temporary workaround. Once we have it ready, I'll share it with you here.

I want to remind you what I wrote on October 17. I wrote:

Our second-tier supporter has debugged the issue on the copy of your site. He found out that the main performance issue occurs (at least on his server with the copy of your site) due to \Custom_Permalinks_Frontend::make_redirect in wp-content/plugins/custom-permalinks/includes/class-custom-permalinks-frontend.php, and not because of WPML.

So please consider that while the workaround we will share with you may help with your site's performance, it will not solve the problem mentioned above, as it is not a problem coming from WPML.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi,

Our second-tier supporter has rechecked your site today. He wrote:

I logged back into the Cloudways site to test something, and I saw that the front end was loading extremely fast, with less than 0.5 seconds to load the home page, including with WPML plugins active.

Did the client change something?

Based on that, I would say nothing is left to do here. The client will benefit from performance improvements to the core plugins as they are released.

I could also verify that the site is indeed loading fast now.

Do you also see this?

Regards,
Itamar.
