This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I'm trying to udnerstand what the String Translator plugin does and How can I prevent to create huge databse and prevent wordpress to looking for this translation in db?

Solution: The String Translator is used to translate strings It is used to translate strings outside of the pages / posts (like theme/plugin strings). Please take a look at this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/

If you want, you can disable these settings to improve performance: - Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality (WPML > Languages) - Track where strings appear (WPML > String translation) - Auto register strings (WPML > String translation) Please take a look at this article: https://wpml.org/pt-br/2012/01/can-your-site-run-faster/
