Hi again, I don't know how to get any further. The supporter refers to the link I have send you to the log. I have used that before when another WMPL supporter needed that. Then it wasn't a problem to check. So what to do? |

Hello, we checked and issue still happened even without Themify Ultra theme. What we did is reinstall WordPress and deleted and manually reinstalled WPML. Then we where getting taxonomy hierarchy notice, so we went ahead and updated the hierarchy for Categories. This fixed the issue and it works fine, as you can see on staging site. Please check. Hello Drazen, Yes, I can see, that I can edit backend on the staging site. I need your help to get through the proces on my main site - step by step, so I dot it correctly. The other issues still persist though. On the front page, wmpl still mixes languages on the English and Danish version, put Danish links into them - some places, and updates the translated versions with old content as well. As I described in my ticket at the beginning. It is very importnant, that WMPL don't update the frontpage automatically. I have that the issue a couple of times before, where your colleguaes have looked at it and solved it. Maybe you can see it in my last couple of tickets? Also there are posts on the English versions, which is translated correctly, but again languages are mixed. When I look at the translation, everything are translated correctly, but not shown. I have found it in theese two posts: hidden link In this post the headline and introductory text is in English, but the rest is in Danish Also this one In this post the introducting is in Danish and the rest is in English. And again all in english if I look at the translated version backend. So I need you to take a look at this too. There might be other posts - also in Spanish. I haven't been through them all. After your opdate the page with Edit Tranlation looks very different from what it normally do. Have you changed it in WMPL or? I have attached some screenshots. Hello, sure, I have opened new ticket for your 2nd issue and we can look further on it there: - https://wpml.org/forums/topic/split-wpml-mixes-languages/ Please make sure to create a backup, before doing any actions, just in case. 1) Go to your WordPress dashboard. 2) Delete WPML plugins from your website, then go to Downloads > Download WPML Manully, download WPML and String translation plugin and then install them from Plugins > Add new - https://wpml.org/account/downloads/ 3) When the banner for Taxonomy comes up, follow it instructions. Hello Drazen, I have followed your instructions and: Reinstalled WordPress Deleted WMPL and reinstalled it. Updated the hieracy for categories. And unfortunately the issue still remains. I still can't edit backend. So can you please take a look at it again on the main site? Thanks for opening a new ticket. I will wait to respond to that until we have fixed the issue here first |

Hello again, Do you have any idea how long it takes for the 2nd tier to get back? This issue has affected me for 10 days now, and it is really bad for me, that I can't post anything because I can edit backend. If it takes long time to solve this issue, is there any way I can deactivate WMPL temporary so my website is only showing the main language while you are working on a solution? Then I will be able to work again. It is really crucial for me Hanne |

Hello Hanne, I understand your concern, I took the ticket and issue was escalated 2 days ago, we are giving our best and working on this. Note it is difficult to understand and solve the issue, since it is not happening on any other server / local host nor it does happen anymore on your staging site, so our hand are tied, to say like that. We are trying different things to have a working case where we can further debug issue. What you can do, is disable WPML for moment do the changes on your page, and then enable it back, so you are not affected by any issue / indexing etc. Hope this helps. Hello Drazen Thanks for your reply and I know it is not an easy case. I have to work around 1/2 to 1 hour every time I create a new post. I both have a lot of txt and images to take care of. And when I switch off the WMPL plugin the site is a mess with duplicated posts in different languages on the front page. So it is not a good strategy. Hopefully, the team find a solution soon.
