Hello there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'd be happy to assist you further on this issue.

Could you please elaborate the issue a bit much? could you please provide me step to step details what you performed which resulted in the category not being shown? if you can attach screenshots that would be much helpful.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hello there,

If you go to Dashboard->Product->Product Categories search for vehicles category, then you will see that there are 0 products with this category, I think this is the reason why the category is not showing at all.

Since you mentioned you are unaware of any changes that might have created this problem, I think it will be most efficient to restore a backup if you have and keep monitoring the site to find out the step that created the issue.

I would like to know if you do have a backup?

Let me know if this helps.

Hello there,

Once you save a product with the same category, it shows on the front-end, which is normal. The reason why it wasn't showing was that there were no any products under that category.

I think the products lost it category from what you say, so I wanted to know if you are aware of the steps that created this problem? Do you have a backup file where the category was assigned properly?

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hello there,

I can see the issue, to further debug this issue, I would need to replicate your site on my localhost and perform further debugging, so, could you please provide me a backup of your wp-content (without uploads) as well as database backup so I can replicate your site on my localhost and perform further debugging.

You can zip these files and upload to google drive later to share it with me.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hello there,

I installed your site on my localhost and after installing I disabled all non-wpml plugins and the page started to work properly, then after I started to enable the plugin one by one and enabled every plugin but the problem is not replicated anymore, so could you please follow the below steps one by one and let me know if this helps:

1) Could you please go to WPML-> Support ->Troubleshooting and click the below buttons and let me know if that helps:

+ Set Language information
+ Clear Cache in WPML
+ Fix element types collation
+ Assign translation status to duplicated content

2) Disable all non-related WPML plugins, and switch to default theme, check if issue exists, if not please enable plugins one by one to see which plugins is creating the issue for you.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hello there,

That's strange I try it again on your site and the steps that worked yesterday is not working anymore.

I also tried to see the issue when WPML is disabled, and I can still see the issue, as you mentioned, those categories are not showing.

I can see you are still using Enfold, could you please deactivate it and use default WordPress theme and see if that helps?

Since the issue is happening without the WPML plugin too, I don't think it's WPML related issue, could you also contact the plugin developer and ask if they can help you with this issue?

If they need some details from our side while debugging, you can ask for those details here, I will be happy to help.

Kind Regards,
Shekhar
