Hi,

Recently I found out that if I have both Woocommerce Multilingual and ATUM turned on I cannot open the regular Woocommerce list of products. The page loads for few minutes, after which I get a 503 error. My admin says, that my WP eats all server resources during this time. If I deactivate one of these plugins, the list of products loads in 2 seconds.

Can you please help me?

Regards

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

Can you please check this errata and try what has been suggested there?
https://wpml.org/errata/timeouts-with-woocommerce-multilingual-4-6-1/

If this works for you, let me know. This patch will end up officially in WCML 4.6.2.

Another thing - could you make sure your server conforms to our minimum requirements?
https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/

Based on provided debug information, I can see the following - WP Memory Limit: 40M.

Specifically, could you set WP Memory limit to at least 256MB?
https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

If unsure on how to set this, you can consult your host/server admin to do this. After you increase this value, you can confirm it by checking on WPML -> Support by finding the “Memory limit” value.

Bruno Kos

Thanks, it fixed the issue. I have increased the max memory limit to 256 and memory limit to 128. Max looks OK, but WPML still shows regular as 40 🙁 any idea why?

Hi,

So you used something like:

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

and put this into wp-config.php?

Perhaps WPML is not picking up the correct value in your case (or memory limit is overridden elsewhere - perhaps even in wp-config file, but in another line).

You could also try checking this through plugins such as:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/server-ip-memory-usage/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/server-info/

This is however outside of WPML, since it only reads this data, so you may perhaps want to reach hosting support as well.
