Background of the issue:
I am trying to update WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency to version 5.5.1. On the product page (hidden link), I noticed that the breadcrumb URL of the category page is in English, even though I'm on a French site. This issue also affects WP Rocket, making it impossible to cache category pages, which slows down the site. I've tested this on other sites, and the plugin seems to be the cause. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
The breadcrumb URL of the category page is in English on a French site, causing issues with WP Rocket's caching of category pages, leading to site slowdown.

Questions:
Why is the breadcrumb URL in English on a French site?
How can I resolve the caching issue with WP Rocket caused by the plugin update?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Could you please try the following steps?

1. Navigate to WPML → Taxonomy Translation → Product Categories.
2. Check if all fields are properly filled in, including the Plural translation field.
3. If any fields are empty, please complete the missing translations.

Once done, please verify if the issue persists. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Andrey,

Thanks for your message.

Of all my sites, one has no translation at all.
It's only in one language at the moment.
And the bug is present.

For the others, including one partially translated, I don't have the plural field.

Edit:
Please note that this bug is only present on the French version of the site. The English version is not affected.
The French version is the default.

Thanks
Guillaume

Thank you for your feedback, Guillaume.

Please ensure that the product category itself is fully translated. I have attached screenshots; if any translation fields are missing, kindly complete them and test again to see if the issue persists.

Our development team is aware of this case and is currently reviewing it.

Hi Andrey,

In fact, two of the fields were empty (the slug was filled in).
Filling them in solves the problem 😉

That's great, I'll be able to correct this problem, which had a major impact on all the sites, very quickly.

Thanks again for your help!
Guillaume
