Hello, I have to translate from the website that is visible to the public on the front page, but I can't find it in "string translation", where can I look for it? Thank you
I updated the translations, as suggested in the first step.
But, it still does not appear to be translated in String Translation, the words or expressions that I need to translate from certain sections - for example, according to the attached image, to a section of a page in Romanian (or another language), the words that I want to translate them from English, they are not found in String Translation.
I'm Osama from WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
Please try the following steps:
1- Go to WPML-> Theme and plugins localization, select your theme/plugin, and scan
2- Go to WPML-> String Translation
3- Scroll down and click on the "Translate texts in admin screens »" link
4- Search for the needed strings
5- Select the strings
6- Click on the "Add to String Translation" button
7- Then click on the "« Return to String Translation" link
8- Translate the strings, clear the cache, and check the front end
Hello, the texts that I need to translate cannot be found either in "String Translation" or in "Translate texts in admin screens". Where should I look? Thank you
For example, like a word from the image searched for and found
Thanks for your update. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Thanks for the access details. I checked the issue; the strings are correctly translated in String Translation.
Also, the settings are correct on your site, so it could be a compatibility issue.
Please login to this sandbox site and install your theme. (hidden link)
After that, please create a test agency and translate it to replicate the issue. If the issue is replicable, please let me know how to reproduce it.
Best regards,
Osama
