I did an import on all the dutch products with the new Meta info/ WPML info. Still it does not connect. also the english does connect half of the time with the german. I would prefer a personal assistance of someone who can sort this today with me.

Hello there,

I’m sorry, but we do not provide support via video calls. The available support channels are chat and the forum.

To help us investigate this further, could you please record a video showing the steps you are taking and share it with us? Also, please send the new CSV files so I can review them more closely.

I look forward to your reply.

Thanks

I still got the imports ready on the server. I'm about to go back to a back up. but if you look right now you can investigate on the files I've used an how I runned the import

I'm not sure if you are still here? Can you give me a heads up that your looking into it? It feels like I'm waiting on a reply and that could take 10 minutes or 1 day. If you say your working day is over I prefer to go back to a back up.

Just went back to the backup. If you need a new account, let me know.

To be honest, I’m a bit lost at this point. The lack of response is starting to bother me, especially because this still looks like a relatively small alignment bug.

I already provided all the CSV files, but I’m not any closer to a fix. In the meantime, I’m already thousands of euros lighter because of translations, orders, and plugins I apparently didn’t even need (WP Import/Export, etc.).

I would really appreciate a more permanent solution. The CSV import is only needed for the initial bulk, so it would be great if this part of the guide and setup could be handled a bit faster and more efficiently.

I don’t mean to sound rude — I’m just genuinely frustrated with the situation.

I found out that the standard WP import /export does the job but the standard plugin does not have the capacity to upload 4000+ Products.

Hello there,

I am sorry for the delay. It looks like we are in different time zones, so I will reach out to our team lead to see if we have someone available in your time zone who can take over this ticket.

I have created a video to show how you can import taxonomies here:

The process is the same for the products too. Regarding your point about the standard WordPress import/export handling the import while the standard plugin does not have the capacity to upload 4000+ products, that could indeed be related to server resource limitations, do you see any errors while performing this steps?

Also, in the provided CSV files, I could not find Dutch product references. If you add the Dutch product references, it should work without any issues with WP All Import as well.

I also tried checking the import settings on your site, but the login details no longer seem to work. Could you please update the correct details in your next private reply?

I look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hello, Sven

This is Juan, I will be taking it from here, hopefully we can better align on timezones and we can get this sorted out ASAP.

Before we start, I would like to point out that I could not use the credentials that you provided to log into your site. I could not get the Duplicator package either from Dropbox. I am setting your next reply as private so you can share the information again, please.

Reading the thread, and checking your CSVs, I see no evident reason why the process might fail:
- Your site is originally in NL, and you have 3 CSVs for translations into EN, FR, DE.
- Your CSVs contain mostly simple products, which are usually easier to import.
- Your CSVs contain all the relevant data regarding language, original language, and translation group.

There are two things that might be problematic, though:
- I see that the translation group field in your CSVs matched the product ID. And also that the product ID is the same for all translations. While it might be possible, although unlikely, that the translation group matches the original product ID, the translated product ID certainly needs to be different than the original product ID, and different from the ID of other translations for the same product. This ID is the ID of the post in the database, and IDs are unique. The SKU, on the other hand, should be the same for the original product and its translations, so I think that this is OK:
- Your CSV files are quite long. This means that a lot of products need to be imported at once. I would like to clarify how you exported them, and how you are importing them, since both mechanisms should match or be compatible. As the data relates to products, using an import flow that is not suited for WooCommerce products might leave some data unaligned. And my experience suggests that importing such a large number of products at once with the native WooCommerce importer is problematic, if not impossible.

In summary, please try to refresh the Duplicator clone of your site that you can share with us, I will confirm that I got it and will play with it for a couple of hours, and get back to you with some feedback, and hopefully a solution.

Looking forward to getting this resolved.

I Worked all night and got it working. It's currently merging all the products. However I'm wondering what the plugin will do with custom terms/custom fields. Is it possible to just duplicate them to the other language once merging is done?

Hello

I am glad to hear that you managed to get it working - it would help us if you could share what was wrong and how you managed to solve it, maybe we need to adjust something in the product.

Regarding terms and custom fields, the importing process should take care of them if they were properly included in the CSVs. If you still need to duplicate them or they are not properly set, please let us know here, or in a separate new support ticket. I will keep an eye on you to make sure it gets expedited.

Regards.

The issue was that I assumed the Dutch products were aligned. What I ended up doing was adding a CSV with the terms of the existing products, updating those, and now everything works.

However, I noticed that quite a lot of information did not come across. This information was also not duplicated. Is there a way to sync everything with the original product? The missing information does not need translation.

Also standard things were not implemented. things like price etc.

Also when going back to english product page the website instant crashes.

I see that all the Meta info/stock everything is not in sync and is just set up as random. Is it possible to do a resync with the right information?
