Hello 🙂

I met some problems after update to WordPress 3.9 and WPML 3.1.5b2 with installed iThemes Security (latest version).
After the update the wp-login screen (which is hidden under different url thanks to iThemes Security) is affected by browser language redirect, which redirects to my browser's language frontend homepage.
Can you provide help on this bug?

Thanks,
Dariusz.

Dear Dariusz,

Is it working fine before, I mean with WPML 3.1.4 series and WordPress 3.8.2 ?

Please take a backup and check after deactivating other plugins(no WPML plugins).

Hello 🙂

Thanks for your answer 🙂

I double checked it on hidden link
with
iThemes Security 4.0.27
WordPress 3.8.3
WPML 3.1.4

Same happens on production server with:
iThemes Security 4.0.27
WordPress 3.9
WPML 3.1.5b2

Can you provide help?

Dear Darius,

It is a compatibility issue with WPML and Ithemes Security.

You can disable language redirection option in WPML>>Language settings. It doesn't work well with this plugin. Or if possible set more than one language for login page.

Please try and let me know your feedback.

Thanks for your answer 🙂

How can I set up more languages for login page?

Best,
Dariusz.

By the way, does WPML cooperate with the iThemes Security plugin authors?
The redirection is a little flaw, maybe it would be solved in one of the sides? WPML or the iThemes Security?

Thanks,
Dariusz.

Dear Darius,

Is it working when you disable language redirection option in WPML>>Language settings ?

Have you discuss the issue with iThemes Security author ?

The browser language redirection function is essential to our website.
If it's disabled, everything seems to be okay 🙂 But we still need the redirection on frontend.
I posted the ticket on WordPress Support forums, which link i below:

Hello 🙂

Thanks. I asked them. Didn't they contact you yet?
It's not theme provider, it's plugin provider, but the name can misguide of course.

Thanks,
Dariusz.
