This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: Während dem Aktualisieren von Plugin brach die Interverbindung ab.

Solution: In solchen Fällen, löschen Sie bitte die Ordner des Plugins, welches beim Verbindungsabbruch aktualisiert wurde. Nutzen Sie dazu Server FTP Zugriff oder den Datei-Manager das CPanels.

Danach installieren Sie das Plugin erneut.

Tell us what you are trying to do? I was updating my extensions and the wifi froze. now wpml and string are not there anymore but their folders seem still be there because when I try to reupload them, wordpress tells me they are still in my website. I can't add the debug info because WPML disappeared from my dashboard

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see? if you connect to my website you can have a look

In this case, I would suggest deleting the plugin folders from the server (FTP or CPanel file management).

Make sure to delete:

- sitepress-multilingual-cms
- string-translation

Then download the latest WPML Multilingual CMS version here:
https://wpml.org/account/downloads/

Install the plugin, then go to Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial to install any missing add-ons, like String Translation or others.

My apologies for the delay in answering as I am offline on Sundays and Mondays.

In fact, I should have mentioned in my last message that there is no need to worry when deleting and reinstalling WPML. All settings and translations are saved inside the database, not inside the plugin folders.

I hope this will solve the issue. Let us know if you need further assistance.
