Hi,

We have a multilanguage site running WPML, and Yoast for managing onpage SEO components like Title and Description.

We have an encountered and issue when editing the different language version homepages. Example: fxscouts.com, fxscouts.com/sv/, fxscouts.com/pl/ etc.

When an editor changes the title/description of one of the above pages in the Yoast SEO section of the page, the title/description changes on all language versions, meaning that we have English language titles on Swedish and Polish pages.

How do we correct this issue?

Thanks,

-Björn Michels

Hi Björn,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve these issues.

Does it work fine with other posts or pages? Hope you are using WPML Classic Translation Editor for translating posts/pages.

Please make sure you have set *Translate* as the translation preference for the *Yoast Meta Title & Description* custom fields. Check this documentation for more details - https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-fields/

To help you faster, I've enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/
